Heidi Siegel brings to Palmetto Bay 25 years of local government and community development experience. She began her career in 1999 in Miami Beach as a historic preservation professional working for an advocacy group and then moving to the Mayor and Commission office as a legislative aide. Her career highlights include the City of Hollywood and City of Wilton Manors in Broward County, overseeing statewide planning and development for the Seminole Tribe of Florida for seven years, and serving as Village Manager for the Village of Biscayne Park in northeast Miami-Dade County. Heidi joined the Village of Palmetto Bay in March 2022 and serves as the Director of Community and Economic Development. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Building and Permitting Division, Planning and Zoning, Business Tax Receipts, Sustainability & Resiliency, Code Compliance and Economic Development. Heidi is a South Florida native with ties to Miami Beach. She is mom to a 19-year-old college student and enjoys RVing throughout the year.
