Nick Marano is the Chief Executive of Palmetto Bay, FL and leads a team of 120 full-time employees and police officers with a total annual budget of over $31,500,000. Nick is an experienced City Manager having previously led Carson City for four years.

Prior to getting into local government, Nick had a distinguished career in the United States Marine Corps and retired as a Colonel. He served multiple tours in Iraq as an infantry battalion commander and also commanded the Corps’ largest base, Camp Pendleton, California.

Nick and his wife Tami have two grown, professional children. They are outdoor sports and recreation enthusiasts and live in Key Largo with their yellow Labrador Retriever.
